Well it is all happening in Ballarat. The cycling is making for a spectacular event and the riders staying at Seymours on Lydiard Motel are achieving some fantastic results (well done to our South Australian friends, hopefully the Vic’s can start a comeback soon!).
The cricket under 18’s kicks off next week which is sure to be another fantastic event with the SA girls team staying at the best accommodation in Ballarat at Seymours on Lydiard Motel. Family and friends of the team should get in quick to secure accommodation with us as it sure is going to be a beauty! Then in February we have the best event being held in Lydiard Street just meters from Seymours on Lydiard Motel – The Ballarat Beat Rockabilly Festival (tickets are already on sale at ticketmaster). We only have a couple of rooms left so get in quick so you don’t miss out!!
With a mixture of weather we have been experiencing the begonia festival which is going to be held on the long weekend in March (7th-9th) is sure to be a cracker! The basketball (2015 national U18 basketball titles for Ballarat) is also on in April and we only have limited spots left so make sure you get in quick!
With a variety of suites available (catering for all groups large and small including great family/group accommodation in either our 4 bedroom house (sleeps nine) or in our two bedroom townhouse all located in the heart of Ballarat). Located close to the Ballarat Railway / Train Station (a short stroll), a short walk to the CBD with an award winning restaurant, cafe and bar on site then Seymours on Lydiard is the place for you. If your planning on checking out Sovereign Hill its only a 2.9 km drive (approx 5 minute drive), the Ballarat Wildlife Park is only 4.8 km (or a 7 minute drive) or 10.5 k’s to Kryal Castle (a 10 min drive) then a stay at Seymours on Lydiard Motel is the right choice (free off street undercover parking) with bus services available from the nearby train station. We are also a short stroll from the Ballarat Art Gallery and cinema. Seymours On Lydiard accommodation is also located near Ballarat Base Hospital and St John of God Hospital which makes it a great place to stay whilst visiting loved ones during their recovery.
